Founder/President
Charisma Robinson was born and raised on the westside of Detroit. Growing up her childhood home was a stable refuge for family and friends. She learned at an early age that everyone deserved a beautiful and safe home of their own. Housing equality and stability has been the focus of her career that started at the City of Detroit BSED. After leaving the City of Detroit with 9 years of service under her belt, Charisma began working with the homeless population in Southwest Detroit for nearly a decade. It was during this time that Power In Numbers Detroit began with grassroots events bringing awareness to housing issues in Detroit. Charisma is dedicated to building well designed, sustainable, affordable communities in Detroit.
Power In Numbers Detroit started in 2017 with events supporting entrepreneurs, and artist while collecting cleaning and hygiene products for the homeless community. This work has now expanded to include housing solutions for low income residents of Detroit.
Our team works with construction industry experts to design affordable, sustainable, communities that spark innovation and pride in Detroit neighborhoods.
The new communities will be constructed in neighborhoods often neglected by economic development. Utilizing renewable energy and recycled materials, our minimal impact on the environment is also a priority.
